Every SIGHT group is encouraged to engage in activities that expand the range of resources available to the group and strengthen the impact and sustainability of their projects.
Capacity Building refers to:
- Building the internal human capacity of your SIGHT group.
- Building new and existing partnerships with local community & organizations.
- Sharing successes & learnings with other SIGHT groups.
- Increasing overall awareness of SIGHT both within IEEE and beyond.
- Strengthening the overall resources for your SIGHT group.
*Please note: IEEE does not send individual “goodies” (stickers, pens, pins etc.) to individual SIGHT Groups, but a SIGHT Group’s $250 annual rebate can be used for capacity building activities or supplies. We do send “goodies” to select events around the world every year. We will ship extra for attending SIGHT groups to bring back to their communities!
